Investous Broker Review

F1 Markets Limited, a larger organization, includes the online forex and CFD broker Investous. StrattonMarkets, 24CM, and Europrime are three additional brokers run by this organization that provide comparable services.

The broker is registered with CySEC, Cyprus’ financial watchdog, for their base of operations there.

FCA’s Strike Against Investous

Investous was the first to go when the UK’s FCA began outlawing CFD brokers with offices in Cyprus. The FCA terminated F1 Markets Limited’s passporting rights in June 2020, which prevented them from contacting clients in the UK despite their CySEC registration.

A scam involving many brokers with CySEC registrations—including EuroPrime—using phony celebrity cameos to promote their services led to the ban.

Loss of CySEC membership

CySEC also initiated action against the broker following the UK ban. A number of brokers were partially suspended for using phony celebrity endorsements. During this time, they were unable to accept any new clients.

Before lifting the suspension, the regulator demanded that the brokers take corrective action. According to a statement from the authority that we found during our Investous investigation, the broker complied with these conditions to CySEC’s satisfaction, and the suspension was lifted after a month.

Financial regulators’ cautions

F1 Markets Limited, a business subject to CySEC regulation, owns Investous. However, because Investous and a number of other brokers were falsely advertising their services, the UK FCA officially warned against them. The FCA claims that the broker promoted online trading by employing famous persons who had no connection to the business.

The brand quickly changed owners and relocated to an offshore nation following this restriction.

Problems with money withdrawals Investous

We are not surprised to find a lot of complaints regarding withdrawal concerns given that the broker moved overseas. Despite LELEVLTIME SERVICES LTD still being a Cyprus-based payment processor, it is not governed by the CySEC. There is currently no actual compensation fund because the broker is IFSC-regulated. Clients are on their own to negotiate with this broker and get a refund.

Numerous Investous reviews we have seen claim that the broker is purposefully closing client accounts and misappropriating their funds.

Watch out for Investous scams!

Investous Trading

The assortment of assets offered by Investous is superior. The broker offers more than 40 different currency pairs. Their CFD offering includes a wide range of commodities and stocks, particularly metals. Bitcoin and Ethereum are the only cryptocurrencies that have CFDs accessible.

When compared to similar brokers who provide up to a dozen cryptocurrency options, their offering in this area is noticeably lacking. The minimum deposit to get started is $250, although the broker does provide a sample account to test them out.

Investous Trading Platforms

Both MetaTrader 4 and another web platform are offered by the broker. The variety of technical indicators and charting tools that traders have come to expect are available with MetaTrader 4.

Their online platform may be a bit more complex. Although the layout is simple to use and comprehend, many sophisticated capabilities were not included. They also have iPhone and Android apps for their platform.

The broker’s substantial inactivity costs are one important caveat. The minimum charge for inactive traders is $10 after just one month. After six months of inactivity, this increases by a few dollars every few months, eventually reaching $200 each month.

Investous conclusion

The IFSC regulates Investous, an offshore internet trading firm.

The broker relocated its headquarters from Cyprus to Belize after the FCA placed it on a blacklist.

We do not recommend working with this broker! Watch out for scam.

They are scammers and cannot be trusted, I’ve waited long enough to get my withdrawal money but until today it’s still pending. Plus, they asked me to resent all documents that i had sent to them previously. This is the lousiest way to handle clients. For those who wanted to trade my advice is to check the company background and always see the reviews because it is very helpful
